Actually, someone commented to me that if they hadn't already bought a 'cross bike, the look on my face would have stopped thier purchase. Man - that race was HARD (but absurdly fun).

I'd rather be DFL than DNF like I was for doing the pre-reg and wussing out. Don't worry - next week at Sucker Brook I'll be doing your race so DFL will be mine! All mine! :)
Last is good. It's only up up up from there, right-0? Hope to see you soon. Yes, doing cross but running is top priority this fall. Not doing ANY running until February last year was a big big mistake.

Great job for finishing! It was nasty weather Sunday and it looked like a really tough race.
